WHAT IS MUAY THAI?

Muay Thai is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline is known as “the art of eight limbs” because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient.

Muay Thai became widespread internationally in the twentieth century, when practitioners defeated notable practitioners of other martial arts.

TRAINING

This training is focused on stand-up self defense and also works on the conditioning, coordination and strengthening of the body. Everyone should bring their corresponding uniform like boxing gloves, shinguards, t-shirt and shorts/sweatpants. Hand wraps are optional.   

 

Classes are ALL LEVELS (Beginner Friendly)

They last between 45 - 60 minutes and you will normally burn from 500-800 Calories.
